What we do

Four services. One advisor who knows your business.

Most tax help shows up once a year, in April, when it is too late to change anything. We work with you all year, so the decisions that save you money happen before the deadline — not after.

Tax Preparation & Planning

Accurate returns, filed on time — and a plan that starts working the day after filing season ends.

  • Federal and state returns for sole proprietors, LLCs, partnerships, and S-corps
  • Quarterly estimated tax planning so April never surprises you
  • Deduction reviews that find what rushed filing misses

Entity Structuring: LLC vs. S-Corp

The real break-even math — not a template answer. We model your actual income against payroll taxes, reasonable salary requirements, and added compliance costs.

  • When the S-corp election saves money, and when it costs you
  • Reasonable-salary guidance that keeps you audit-safe
  • State-level wrinkles factored into the recommendation

Straightforward counsel on the decisions where tax and business strategy meet.

  • Pricing, hiring, and growth decisions with the tax impact modeled
  • Cash-flow and recordkeeping systems that scale with you
  • A second set of eyes before you sign, buy, or expand

Compliance & Deadlines

Never miss a filing date or a required form again. We keep the calendar so you can run the business.

  • 1099s, estimated payments, and entity filings tracked for you
  • IRS notice review and response guidance
  • Year-end checklists delivered before it is too late to act
Who we serve

Built for the businesses the big firms overlook.

If you earn your living outside a W-2, your tax situation is more complex than most preparers are built to handle. We are built for exactly that.

01

Small Businesses

LLCs, partnerships, and owner-operators who need more than a once-a-year filing — ongoing strategy from someone who knows their numbers.

02

1099 Contractors

Rideshare and delivery drivers, freelancers, and tradespeople. Quarterly estimates, mileage and expense tracking, and a plan that fits irregular income.

03

Growing Companies Switching Entities

Profitable businesses weighing the S-corp election or restructuring. We run the numbers honestly and tell you when the answer is "not yet."

How it works

Three steps. No runaround.

1. Consultation

Tell us where your business stands and what is keeping you up at night. We listen first, then talk — and we give you a straight answer on whether we can help.

2. Your Plan

You get a clear, written plan: what gets filed, what changes, and what it costs — quoted upfront, before any work begins.

3. Year-Round Support

Deadlines tracked, estimates planned, questions answered. When the IRS sends a letter or a big decision comes up, you call someone who already knows your business.

About the founder

Rafael Rodriguez, Jr., MBA

Rafael founded Triumph Solutions on a simple observation: small business owners and independent contractors make some of the most consequential tax decisions of their lives with the least guidance. The big firms are built for big clients. He built this firm for everyone else.

As the founder of Total Source Net — a network of business service companies spanning bookkeeping, tax, web, procurement, and credit — Rafael sees the full picture of how small businesses actually operate, and brings that perspective to every engagement.

Based in South Florida and working with clients nationwide, his approach is straightforward: plain-English explanations, written quotes before work begins, and an advisor who picks up the phone.

Common questions

Asked and answered, honestly.

They do different jobs. A bookkeeper keeps your records accurate month to month; an accountant or tax advisor handles strategy, planning, and filing. Most growing businesses need both — and the most expensive bookkeeping you will ever buy is your CPA's once-a-year cleanup, billed at CPA rates. We are happy to work alongside your bookkeeper, and through our network we can connect you with one.

It makes sense when the payroll-tax savings consistently outweigh the added costs of running payroll and filing an S-corp return. As a rough rule of thumb, that conversation usually starts when net profit is in the $60,000–$80,000 range — but reasonable-salary requirements, your state, and your growth plans all change the math. We model your actual numbers and give you a straight answer, including when the answer is "not yet."

It depends on your entity type and the complexity of your return — a sole proprietor with clean records is a very different engagement from a multi-member S-corp. What we can promise: every engagement is quoted in writing before work begins. No surprise bills, ever.

Yes. We are based in South Florida and serve clients nationwide. Consultations happen by phone or video, and documents move securely online. Distance has never stopped us from knowing a client's business inside and out.

Yes — and the sooner we talk, the more options you have. We will review where you stand, map out a path to get current, and through our network connect you with dedicated tax-resolution support for debts and enforcement issues.
